Dear Friends of Crossroads,
March is Women’s History Month, a time to reflect on the strength, leadership, and resilience of women across generations. At Crossroads, this recognition is deeply personal. Since 1957, our mission has centered on women supporting women through recovery, healing, and renewal. For nearly seven decades, Crossroads has remained a place where women are met with dignity, structure, and care as they rebuild their lives.
Every day, we witness the quiet courage it takes for women to choose recovery and to show up for themselves and one another. Healing does not happen all at once. It happens through consistency, community, and the belief that change is possible. At Crossroads, women are building skills, strengthening relationships, and creating foundations for long-term stability. This work continues one day at a time, guided by compassion and accountability.
As we look to the future, the development of Maria’s House represents an important extension of this legacy. Expanding our housing options allows us to better support women at every stage of recovery and strengthens the continuum of care that Crossroads has provided for generations. This reflects our commitment to meeting women where they are and walking alongside them as they move forward.
As Women’s History Month reminds us, progress is built through collective effort. The work of Crossroads is possible because of the generosity and dedication of our supporters. Your continued investment helps ensure that women have access to safe housing, structured programs, and a supportive community as they pursue lasting recovery.
We invite you to consider contributing this month to support the women of Crossroads. Your support helps sustain our programs today and strengthens our ability to serve women for years to come.
With gratitude,
Lindsey Purdie
