As we reflect on our legacy as San Diego’s first women’s residential recovery home, we are energized by the opportunities ahead to expand our impact. At the Crossroads Foundation, we remain committed to empowering women to rebuild their lives with strength and resilience, and we are excited to share some of the initiatives we’re working on to ensure a brighter future for the women we serve.

Welcoming City Officials and Foundations to Our Home

This year, we are inviting city officials and foundation leaders to visit our residential home to witness the transformative work happening here. For decades, our home has been a place where women find safety, support, and a path to recovery. Sharing our story with key stakeholders will help us build new partnerships and strengthen our ability to serve.

Focusing on Financial Education and Empowerment

We are pursuing grants to develop financial education programs that will equip women with the skills and knowledge to achieve lasting independence. These programs will enhance our existing services, helping women create stable and sustainable futures.

Plans to Grow and Serve More Women

We are actively exploring opportunities to expand our property to serve more women in need. By adding to our residential space, we can extend our support to even more individuals seeking to overcome challenges and reclaim their lives. Securing grants for this project is a priority as we work to meet the growing demand for our services.

Looking Ahead to New Initiatives

Our plans for the year include expanding outreach efforts and exploring innovative programs to address the challenges faced by women struggling with substance use disorders throughout San Diego. We are committed to making a meaningful difference in their lives and providing the support they need to succeed.
