Dear Friends of Crossroads,
As we transition into September, I am filled with excitement and anticipation for the events ahead that support our mission of empowering women on their path to recovery. This month is particularly special as we prepare for our 37th Annual Pasta & Jazz Gala, taking place on September 20th at the Courtyard Marriott Liberty Station. This year’s theme, “Roaring 20s,” promises to be an unforgettable evening of elegance, music, and community.
We are thrilled to announce that the incredible Big Time Operator will be providing live music, bringing their signature style and energy to the night. The Pasta & Jazz Gala is not just an evening of entertainment; it is our most important fundraiser of the year. The funds raised during this event will directly benefit Maria’s House, our planned transitional housing program for women rebuilding their lives after completing their recovery journey at Crossroads. Your attendance and support will help us create a safe and supportive environment for those ready to take the next step toward independence.
Support the Cause Beyond the Gala
In addition to our gala, Crossroads is proud to participate in the McAlister Institute’s 12th Annual Walk for Sobriety. This event brings together thousands of people from across San Diego to walk in solidarity, raising awareness and funds to support those in recovery. We invite you to join us as we lace up our sneakers and walk side-by-side with others dedicated to breaking the cycle of addiction and supporting lasting recovery.
How You Can Get Involved
We encourage all of you, our dedicated supporters, to get involved in these meaningful events. Whether by attending the gala, walking with us for sobriety, or simply spreading the word about our cause, every action helps. Your involvement plays a crucial role in Crossroads’ success and our ability to provide life-changing services to women in need.
Thank you for standing with us, believing in our mission, and contributing to a brighter future for the women we serve. Together, we are making a real difference.
With gratitude,
Lindsey Purdie
