The Crossroads Foundation is thrilled to introduce you to our new Executive Director, Roxy Walnum!

Roxy holds a Bachelor’s in Business Management and a Master’s in Counseling; she is also a Licensed Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LAADC). Roxy has been in the addiction field for over 30 years. Her years of experience include overseeing residential and outpatient programs in a variety of modalities and populations, Co-occurring, women with children, homeless, medicated assisted treatment (MAT), and in custody. Roxy was instrumental in developing an effective case management program in San Diego working with parents being referred from the dependency courts. Roxy currently sits on the Board of Directors for the California Association of Collaborative Courts (CACC) and the California Association of Supervised Visitation Service Providers (CASVSP).

Roxy is passionate about the work she does in recovery; as she says “doing what God created me to do, save lives”. Roxy is a passionate woman in long-term recovery and what that means to her is abstinence from mind-altering substances for over 33 years. She is an active member of the recovery community.

Roxy has lived in San Diego County for most of her life. Roxy currently lives in Alpine and enjoys gardening, raising chickens, and hiking with her dog, Sugar. Roxy, also I enjoy dancing, camping, hiking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Roxy has two children, Michelle and Brian, Roxy’s mother lives in Santee with her son

Roxy is honored to be joining the Crossroad Foundation. Roxy has referred many women to the program over the years with very successful outcomes. Roxy is excited to bring her resources and skills to Crossroads to enhance the services already offered. Roxy will be a valuable part of our growth, innovation, and service of excellence in the coming years!
