San Diego, CA. February 19, 2024 — The Crossroads Foundation Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Lindsey Purdie, MBA, an accomplished business administrator and mental healthcare leader, has been appointed as executive director.

“Lindsey Purdie is a talented and empathetic administrator who has demonstrated a passion for holistic and substance abuse disorder care,” said Amy Knox, President of the San Diego non-profit’s Board of Directors. “Her depth of experience in mental healthcare operations and professional development of staff will continue our commitment to excellence in leading the way as San Diego’s premier women’s residential recovery home in San Diego.”

As executive director, Purdie will collaborate with the board and the leadership team to create and implement the Crossroad Foundation’s strategic vision and goals, ensure the highest levels of clinical quality, maintain, and enhance mental healthcare and infrastructure, ensure financial sustainability and stability, and provide leadership in workforce engagement and professional development.

“I am honored and deeply grateful to serve in this leadership role,” said Purdie. “The tremendous success and sterling reputation of the Crossroads Foundation is one that residential recovery homes around the country emulate. I am excited to work with each and every member of our team to carry forward our mission to deliver excellence in client care.”

The Crossroads Foundation opened its doors in San Diego California to women in 1957, becoming the first of its kind in the city and the second in California. Since then, thousands of women have found life after addiction through this leader in substance abuse disorder residential recovery home.
