Dear Friends of Crossroads,

As we approach the end of summer, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news and updates from the Crossroads Foundation. Our mission of helping women reclaim their lives from substance abuse has been making waves in the community, and we couldn’t be more grateful for your continued support.

In the Spotlight

We’ve recently been featured on two major platforms that have helped amplify our message. The East County Californian published an article highlighting our work and the upcoming Gala, which you can read here. Additionally, I had the honor of being interviewed on Drew Schlosberg’s “Spotlight on the Community” podcast, where we discussed the impact Crossroads has had on countless women over the years. You can listen to the full interview here.

These features are more than just media coverage—they are vital tools in spreading awareness about the work we do. By sharing our stories, we inspire others to join us in our mission and reach more women in need of our services. It’s a powerful reminder of how important it is to get the word out about Crossroads and the life-changing work we’re doing together.

Upcoming Event: Pasta & Jazz Gala

Our much-anticipated Gala, “Pasta & Jazz,” is just around the corner! This year’s event will be held on September 20 at the beautiful Marriott Hotel in Liberty Station and will transport you back to the Roaring 20s. This is an evening you won’t want to miss—full of delicious food, live jazz, and plenty of fun, all while supporting a cause close to our hearts.

Tickets are available for $80 on our website, and all proceeds will go directly toward building Maria’s House, a new safe haven for women in recovery. Your participation in this event is crucial to helping us expand our reach and provide even more women with the support they need to rebuild their lives.

A Special Thank You

As we continue to grow and expand our services, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our supporters. Whether through donations, attending events or simply sharing our message, you are helping us make a lasting impact in the lives of so many women. Together, we are creating a brighter future for those who need it most.

Thank you for being a part of the Crossroads community.

With gratitude,

Lindsey Purdie
Executive Director
Crossroads Foundation

P.S. Don’t forget to get your tickets for the Pasta & Jazz Gala on September 20! Let’s make this event our most successful yet and take another big step toward building Maria’s House.
